Inter-country Adoption Management Development Board (ICAB) is under the Ministry of Women Children and Social Welfare Government of Nepal. ICAB is designated as the central authority to deal with inter-country adoption.In 2010, Inter-country Adoption Management Development Board been established to make Nepal's Inter-country Adoption system more ethical and transparent. It is working as a Central Authority for inter country adoption. A high level board was established with the representation of pediatrician and representatives from child right activist in the board.

CHILDREN HOME
Children home ("Orphanage") means an organization which, having been registered pursuant to prevailing law, provides protection to orphan children by caring and maintaining them.
